Nancy Yeager is teaching and starting classes at the Enlightened Path Center in Palm Desert in creative writing, journaling and poetry. Nancy shows you how the creative process heals and leads to a connection with the higher self though essential expression, self actualization, insight and clarity. The exploration of poetry and literature discloses the universal nature of our journey and can expand our perception of it which yields a broader, more compassionate worldview.
Before moving to the desert, Nancy spent 11 years teaching secondary English and gifted students in Pennsylvania. Raised in a large family on ample doses of chaos and love, she learned early in life that sharing and communication are essential skills and has been voraciously reading and writing ever since. Although Nancy often chooses the solace of the fictional realm, she often looks to the Tao Te Ching, Toltec Wisdom, and great writers and poets to keep her on the right path.
Nancy has been selected to Who's Who Among American Women, Who's Who Among American teachers and National Honor Roll's Outstanding American Teachers. She lives in La Quinta and sustains herself on a diet infused with large doses of sunshine, tea, dark chocolate and poetry. She has also published prize writing fiction/poetry since 1972 and assisted students in the publication of their own work, including three books of poetry.
